Clara's 1950s Sweater and Skirt

This week, Clara has another school outfit from the 1950s. With the same wide skirt shape as last week's dress, this skirt has some wide box pleats, a tall waistline, and a narrow belt for decoration. The sweater is a soft, form fitting shape with 3/4 length sleeves.

With some of the popular penny loafers and tall socks, Clara is ready for a stylish day at school.

The original sweater was yellow. The skirt was a dull orange with a shiny black belt. The penny loafers were dark brown leather, worn with white socks. The headband matched the yellow sweater.
